What's needed is Cygwin with the Perl package. Also I've tended to make a 
few changes to Graham's intest.pl to get it to work on Windows. Perhaps now 
is a good moment to try to get Graham to fold those changes back in ...

Graham, could you email me your current intest.pl? I haven't got your 
unmodified version to hand to diff mine against.
