Cool! I got the OLPC environment working on my PowerBook via the Q  
emulator.  It was slow but it does indeed work. For development, I  
should probably do what you did.

What class of machine did you put it on? I only have an old IBM laptop  
and I am afraid it isn't going to be fast enough...

I am working on the python port of the cli now, and it seems pretty  
straightforward.
